Membership Terms and Conditions

 
Article 1 [Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions”) is to regulate all matters relating to the company and its members in relation to the use of the charis (https://charissolution.com) service provided by Charis Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as charis)

 

 

Article 2 (Effectiveness of Terms and Conditions, etc.)

① The terms and conditions become effective when they are announced and the other party agrees. These terms and conditions will be made public by posting them on the charis website (https://charissolution.com).
② Charis may revise the Terms and Conditions to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws such as the ‘Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions’.
③ Terms and conditions notified of changes as per Paragraph 3 shall also be valid for existing members.

 
 

Article 3 (Interpretation of Terms and Conditions and Jurisdiction Court)

① Matters not specified in the Terms and Conditions and the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by relevant laws and commercial practices.
② If a dispute arises between charis and a member, the competent court will decide where to decide.

 

 

Article 4 (Definition of terms)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows.

① ‘Member’ refers to a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to charis and can continuously use the services provided by charis.
② ‘ID’ means a combination of letters and numbers determined by the member and approved by Charis for identification of the ‘member’ and use of the service.
③ ‘Password’ means a combination of letters and numbers approved by charis to confirm that the ‘member’ matches the ‘ID’ given to the ‘member’.

 

 

Article 5 (Membership Registration and Qualifications)

① You are registered as a member by filling out your member information according to the form set by charis, applying for membership, and being approved by charis. Contracts for special use, such as mass use of the service, are provided under separate contracts.
② In any of the following cases, Charis may not recognize membership registration, restrict service use, permanently ban, or take measures such as deprivation of membership.
1. If you applied for membership using someone else’s name
2. If required information is not filled out or filled out falsely when applying

3. If an application is made or an action is taken for the purpose of violating relevant laws and regulations
4. If an application is made or an act is performed for the purpose of undermining social order or public morals.
5. In case of threatening the electronic transaction order, such as interfering with another person’s use of charis or stealing the information.
6. Article 12: Failure to comply with member obligations
③ When applying under paragraph 1, charis may request identity verification depending on the type of member.
④ If charis deprives you of membership, your membership registration will be cancelled. In this case, the member will be notified in advance and given an opportunity to explain. However, if notification cannot be made due to reasons attributable to the member, notification may be omitted.

 

 

Article 6 (Acquisition and use of personal information)

① charis establishes and implements a personal information processing policy and complies with laws regarding the acquisition, use, and protection of personal information. The personal information processing policy is posted at all times at the bottom of the homepage.
② charis cannot use personal information provided by members for purposes other than this service.
③ charis cannot provide personal information provided by members to a third party without the member’s prior consent. However, exceptions are made in the following cases.
1. When providing domain name search services
2. At the request of a state agency pursuant to related laws such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications
3. When there is a purpose for investigating a crime or there is a request from the Information and Communication Ethics Committee.
4. When using member information (name, address, phone number) for business contact
5. When sharing some information only for matters related to banking business

6. When it is necessary for statistical compilation, promotional materials, academic research, or market research and is provided in a form that does not identify a specific customer.

 

 

Article 7 (Withdrawal of Membership)

① Members may request withdrawal from charis at any time, and charis will process the withdrawal immediately.
② If the expiration date of the service the member is using at charis has not passed, charis will not process withdrawal.

 

 

Article 8 (Notification to members)

① When charis notifies members, it can do so using the e-mail address submitted by the member to charis.
② In the case of notices to an unspecified number of members, Charis may replace individual notices by posting them on the Charis bulletin board for more than one week.

 

 

Article 9 (Copyright and management of posts)

① The copyright of posts, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “posts, etc.”) posted by members within the service belongs to the author of the post.
② Posts, etc. may be exposed in search results, “services” and related promotions, etc., and may be partially modified, copied, edited and posted to the extent necessary for such exposure. In this case, the “Company” complies with the provisions of the Copyright Act, and if the “User” does not wish to do so, the “User” can delete the relevant posting through the customer center or management function within the “Service”.
③ If the Company wishes to use a member’s posting in a manner other than Paragraph 2, the Company will obtain the member’s prior consent via phone, fax, e-mail, etc.
④ If a member’s post contains content that violates relevant laws such as the “Information and Communications Network Act” and the “Copyright Act,” the rights holder may request suspension or deletion of the post in question in accordance with the procedures set forth in the relevant laws. Even in this case, Charis may take temporary measures, etc. regarding the post.

 

 

Article 10 (Obligations of charis)

① charis does its best to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
② Charis always does its best to ensure information security by taking administrative and technical security measures for personal information, including registrant information.
③ charis does its best to maintain order in e-commerce through fair and sound operations and contributes to the development of the Internet business by maximizing customer satisfaction by providing quality services through continuous research and development.
④ If charis determines that inconveniences and problems raised by members are justified, it will immediately handle them with priority. However, if prompt processing is difficult, the member will be notified immediately of the reason and processing schedule.
⑤ Charis actively cooperates with requests from consumer protection groups and public institutions for data necessary to promote consumer protection work.

 

 

Article 11 (Member’s Obligations)

① Members are responsible for all management of their ID and password.
② Members must not disclose their ID and password to third parties.
③ Members must not engage in the following acts.
1. Registration of false information when applying or changing
2. Stealing other people’s information
3. Changes to information posted by charis
4. Transmission or posting of information (computer programs, etc.) other than that specified by Charis.
5. Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of charis and other third parties.
6. Acts that damage the reputation of charis and other third parties or interfere with their work
7. Disclosing or posting on the service obscene or violent messages, videos, voices, or other information that is against public order and morals.
8. Other illegal or unfair actions
④ Members must comply with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions and related laws.
⑤ Members may not use the information obtained through the service by copying, duplicating, modifying, translating, publishing or otherwise using the information obtained through the service, or provide it to others without prior consent from Charis.

 

 

Article 12 (Limitation of Liability)

1. If charis is unable to provide services due to a natural disaster or other force majeure, Charis is exempt from liability for service provision.
2. charis is not responsible for any disruption in service use due to the member’s fault.
3. Charis is not responsible for any failure of services provided by operators other than Charis.
4. charis is not responsible for the reliability or accuracy of information, data, or facts posted by members in connection with the service.
5. Charis is exempt from liability in cases where transactions are made between members or between members and a third party through the service.
6. The company is not responsible for the use of services provided free of charge, unless there are special provisions in relevant laws.
7. The application of these terms and conditions is limited to members who have entered into a service agreement, and the company is exempt from liability for any compensation, lawsuits, etc. to third parties.
